Fire alarm installation in Bridgwater.

Fire alarms in Bridgwater

Bridgwater is a large industrial and commercial town. Its trading estates, warehouses and logistics sites sit alongside a busy town centre. The major construction activity at Hinkley Point C nearby has also increased demand for accommodation, offices and supporting businesses in the area.

Premises we work with in Bridgwater

• Warehouses and industrial units with large floor areas and high ceilings.
• Offices and contractors’ premises often temporary or changing.
• Hospitality and accommodation pubs, guest houses and lets.
• Town centre retail with older buildings.
• Landlords and HMOs with rented property.

Local considerations

High ceilings and large industrial spaces may call for beam detectors or particular detector types. Dust and process heat need careful detector selection.

Fire and rescue service

Bridgwater falls under Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service. Enforcing authorities can ask to see your fire risk assessment, fire alarm records and logbook, so having them in order is worth the effort. See your responsibilities.
